Enrogen is a leading manufacturer specialising in the production of high-quality generators known for their reliability and performance.

We are seeking dedicated production operatives to join our team and expand our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assembling generating sets and various components, providing opportunities for both mechanical and electrical skills development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Generator Assembly:

  • Assemble generating sets (Engine/Alternator Fitment, Bolted Steel Works) following detailed instructions, technical drawings and work orders.
  • Assemble generator components with precision and a strong attention to quality.
  • Operate various hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform other mechanical and engineering tasks as required.

2. Quality Control:

  • Conduct visual inspections and quality checks to ensure that finished products meet our high-quality standards.
  • Report any defects or deviations from specifications to supervisors.

3. Machine Operation:

  • Safely operate machinery and equipment used in generator manufacturing. (Training will be given)
  • Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.

4. Material Handling:

  • Handle and transport materials and components within the production area safely and efficiently (Fork trucks will be required and full training (B1+B2) will be provided where required)
  • Ensure proper storage and organisation of materials to support efficient assembly processes and align with health and safety practises.

5. Team Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with fellow Production Operatives and team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively to share insights and resolve production challenges.

6. Safety Compliance:

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Participate in safety training and promote a culture of safety among peers.

7. Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including completion of work orders and time logs.
  • Assist in updating manufacturing documentation as needed

Qualifications:

  • Physically fit with the ability to lift large sections and weights safely.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks in a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical skills or experience in car wiring, mains electrical work, machinery movements, welding, or IT skills would be advantageous.
  • Forklift experience is a plus but not required; forklift training (B1+B2) will be provided.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
