Major Electrical Upgrade at UKAR Leeds UK
In May Enrogen completed and handed over a major electrical upgrade at UKAR (Formerly Bradford and Bingley). Our scope included removal of a 20year old Broadcrown system and replacement with Deep Sea Electronics gen to grid synchronising. The switchboards built originally by Durham Switchgear were completely stripped, including removal of 30 electromechanical relays and upfitted with DSE 8660. Our scope also included the mechanical fitment of a new Cummins QST30 1000kVA genset in place of an existing Dorman 12SE and upgrdaing to synchronising of a Yorkshire Diesel / PowerCo set, installed, but imcomplete. For generator panels Enrogen manufactured and supplied 2 free standing control panels witch Terasaki withdrawable ACBs and DSE8610 controls.
